Here at SensoPlay, we are driven by a single goal to make Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties sensory friendly by 2023 so that all individuals feel included.
Activities
Making A Difference
Sensory Boxes
SensoPlay provides sensory boxes to children, teens and adults with Autism or sensory processing disorders, as well as teachers that teach students with developmental delays. Each box includes 5 sensory toys/aids to help the individual.
Local Venue and Business Sensory Bags
We provide sensory bags to area businesses in the tri county area for individuals with autism or sensory issues to use to have a better experience. The bags include noise cancelling headphones, sun glasses, communication cards, dry erase marker, ID cards, 2 sensory aids, venue map and wet wipes and tissues and an autism bracelet. These bags are donated to venues free of charge and we replace items that get damaged or lost.
Law Enforcement and Fire/Ems Sensory bags
We provide sensory bags, communication cards, and weighted lap pads for area law enforcement, EMS and Fire Department free of charge to keep in their emergency vehicles to help a child/adult with Autism or sensory issues.
Autism ID Cards
SensoPlay makes Autism ID cards for children and adults with Autism or other related diagnosis. The cards include the person’s picture, fingerprint, personal information, contact #’s, and personal things about your child that will help any first responders to aid them.
